Will free online classified ad syndication take over craigslist?

By Natalie Grey

I have tested many classified ad sites and found kijiji had a ton of traffic. However my classified ads just seem to get taken down and then I need to go and repost them. I have tried other free classified sites but found the traffic just isn't there.... Yesterday I received a newsletter from stumblehere and I decided to testthe Ad Syndication that stumblehere.com is promoting.

I wanted to find out what classified ad syndication is. Stumblehere.com encourages their professional ad service. Their Wizard walks you through the ad creation process and then will automatically syndicate and post your classified ad to over 150 separate top classified ad sites, online marketplaces, search engines and RSS Feeds. This will save you hours upon hours of valuable time. Is your time worth it?

What this means is stumblehere.com saves you not only money but time too. The power comes from entering your ad only one time. After that they do all the work listing your ad in online marketplaces, classified directories, RSS feeds and the top search engines. And this is all done rather quickly, usually within 40 hours or less.

Wow, so I can actually get traffic to my ad? I don't have to spend time posting them 750 places? I don't need to repost my ads every day due to being flagged wrongly? Sign me up!

I am gonna test out the betterpost ads. Since I am relatively new to the web, I am excited to try their walkthrough and have my classified ad built for me. Then as part of the betterpost process the ads will have full syndication. I will let you know all my results on how thier process works.

The best way to explain betterpost is - An ad upgrade feature, for 7.99 you build a professional and attractive ad and then stumblehere.com syndicates that ad for you. They place and syndicate your ad for you so you do not have to make multiple ad placements yourself!

Right now stumblehere only offers betterpost in their vehicles section. I am going to test it out. I need to sell my car anyways. Stumblehere is offering 85% off through the end of October 2008 for anyone who wants to beta test their betterpost ad syndication product. Simply enter 'halloween' all lowercase in the promo code box after posting your ad.

This test is going to be really cheap. My total came to $1.20. And my ad looks amazing.

This is my first time paying for an online classified ad. After 7 hours I still had not received any response. I read the faq on http://www.stumblehere.com and it said how it can take up to 19 hours for syndication to happen. Now I need to wait it out.

About 7 hours later I got my 1st call... I tried to see what site they saw my ad on but, the gal couldn't remember. She just talked about how she was impressed at how my car looked in the ad.

After a good night's rest I decided to check my email. There were already 2 emails in there about my car. Later that day I got call number 2 and set up some appointments to have people look at my car. Soo classified ad syndication does work?

To answer my question above, I know ad syndication works! It was nice to only have to submit my ad once. Plus my ad was not flagged wrongly. 4 days after i started this process response was great. I had 5 calls and 8 emails! - 15485
